Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters centers around the journey of the spirit of an ancient Egyptian pharaoh who is trying to re-discover who he was many years ago, since he has lost his memories. With the help of a boy, Yugi Mutou, the one who awakened the spirit, and his friends, he battles many villains and adversaries. Many of the villains have been linked to the Nameless Pharaoh's past, due to the Millennium Puzzle he holds and many try to take the puzzle and his power away from him. The series focuses on the card game aspect of it and the main theme represented throughout the series is friendship.

Yu-Gi-Oh! VRAINS

The sixth anime series in the Yu-Gi-Oh! franchise. VRAINS is an acronym for "Virtual Reality Artificial Intelligence Network System". In futuristic Den City, people duel using digital cards in the VR space "LINK VRAINS" managed by SOL Technology, Inc. A mysterious organization known as the Knights of Hanoi hacks into LINK VRAINS in search of a runaway AI program, Ignis. One duelist with the username "Playmaker" stands against this threat. His true identity is high school student Yuusaku Fujiki, a skilled hacker with a dark past and a grudge against Hanoi. When he becomes the first to capture Ignis, a struggle between Yuusaku, SOL Technology, and the Knights of Hanoi ensues. (Written by Edo)

Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal

The story takes place in the near future in a city called Heartland. Tsukumo Yuma is a young duelist who strives to become the Duel Monsters champion, despite being an amateur. One day, during a duel with a school bully, a mysterious spirit called Astral appears before Yuma, and helps him to win. Astral then explains to Yuma that he is searching for his lost memories, which have been transformed into 99 "Xyz Monster" cards called "Numbers" and have been scattered across the globe. The "Numbers" have the ability to possess the duelists who own them and bring out their darkest desires. In order to recover his memories, and collect the "Numbers" cards, Astral teams up with Yuma.

Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's

Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's is set in Neo Domino City some time after the events concerning Yugi Mutou (DM) and Judai Yuki (GX). A new form of dueling, "Riding Duels", now take place on motorcycles called "D-Wheels". While regular dueling still exists, Riding Duels have become a popular form of entertainment for spectators, who watch them in specially-designed stadiums.

Yu-Gi-Oh!: The Dark Side of Dimensions

Set six months after the events of the original Yu-Gi-Oh! manga, Yugi Muto and his friends are in their final year of high school and are talking about what they will do in the future. Meanwhile, Seto Kaiba has commissioned an excavation to retrieve the disassembled Millennium Puzzle from the ruins of the Millennium chamber. The item had previously housed the soul of his rival, Atem, whom he hopes to revive in order to settle their score. The excavation is interrupted by a mysterious man, who faces Kaiba in a game of Duel Monsters and steals two pieces of the recovered Puzzle. What is his ulterior motive? Thanks to the Leo Corporation, headed by Reiji Akaba, new advancements to Solid Vision, the holographic system that gives life to the Duel Monsters card game, give physical mass to monsters and environments, allowing players to interact directly with them. This has given birth to challenging Action Duels, in which duelists may traverse environments to locate Action Cards to help them in a pinch. The story follows Yuya Sakaki, a second year middle school student at Miami City's You Show Duel School, whose father disappeared three years ago when he was scheduled for an important duel. While facing off against the current Action Duel champion, Yuya awakens a new power from his pendant, known as Pendulum Summoning.

Yu-Gi-Oh! Capsule Monsters is a twelve-episode mini-series commissioned, produced, and edited by 4Kids Entertainment and animated by Studio Gallop. The miniseries is officially considered to be part of the fifth season of Yu-Gi-Oh!
